Link to plays

I'm an award-nominated writer with a background primarily in playwriting. I’ve had several critically acclaimed plays produced in Ireland, including a national tour of my play, The Harvest, nominated for the Stewart Parker Award.

My current play in progress, A Straw House, was recently longlisted for the Women's Prize for Playwriting 2025, and debuted as a reading in The Dublin Theatre Festival in 2024, produced by Then This Theatre, supported by Axis Theatre, Ballymun and directed by Aoife Spillane-Hinks. The play received seed funding from Arts Council in 2021, so it's been a journey to get here, with a few pauses in between to have a few babies.

Commissions include a short story publication in Fortnight Magazine (Fortnight at 50) and a commission from UNESCO to adapt the novel Girls in Their Married Bliss by Enda O'Brien for Dublin's ONE CITY ONE BOOK.

I have an MA in Creative Writing (2012) and a BA in English Literature (2007), both from University College Dublin. I recently received a Certification in Writing for Television Drama from IADT (2026)
